Friday 10th July 2009 saw the Foxhills team of ten mixed pairs win the Triangular Cup to go into the lead of team successes, with Camberley Heath, Foxhills and Windlesham: until Friday each of the clubs had won on three occasions. I was delighted that our team achieved the goal and followed the successes of captains Gordon Phillips, Paul Searle and Paul Suchley.
I am equally proud that our Men’s team beat Fulwell in an away match six nil.
Thanks to all club members representing us, proving how strong the club is in depth.
Look out for opportunities to play in club Ladies, Men’s, Mixed and Wayfarers matches.
N.B. The Triangular Cup is an anuual match between Foxhills, Camberley Heath and Windlesham where 9 holes are played at each course (on the same day) followed by a dinner hosted at the club where the final 9 is played.
