The annual Triangular competition between Foxhills, Camberley Heath and Windlesham took place yesterday with a winning result for Foxhills.This competition began on 2000 and is a 27 hole event with 9 holes being played at each of the above clubs on the same day. Our courses were packed, with the members who had watched our new captain, Dave Rogers, strike not one but four balls, if you include the football he kicked off the first tee. Teddy Gomaz watched with delight as his shot found the bottom of the cup on the 4th on Longcross. During the final round of the Fox Trophy [...] Friday 10th July saw the Foxhills team of ten mixed pairs win the Triangualr Cup to go into the lead of team success: until Friday each of the clubs had won on three occasions. I was delighted that our team acheived the goal and followed the successes of captains Gordon Phillips, Paul Searle and Paul Suchley. I am equally proud the our Mens team beat Fulwell in an away macth six nil. Thanks to all club members representing us, proving how strong the club is in depth. [...]
